FuseSign and Sodium launch integrated digital signing workflow for accounting firms

Security-and-privacy-graphic

Accounting firms increasingly want the flexibility to choose the best tools for each part of their workflow, without creating more disconnected systems or manual administration.

That is why FuseSign is now integrated with Sodium, a UK-based practice management platform for accountants. The new integration allows firms to manage their clients and workflows in Sodium while using FuseSign for document signing.

Together, the platforms give firms a more connected way to move work forward while continuing to use specialist tools designed for each task.

Connecting practice management and document signing

Document signing is an important part of many accounting workflows, from engagement letters and tax documents to financial statements, compliance forms and client approvals.

When signing sits outside a firm’s wider workflow, teams can lose time moving between systems, repeating steps and manually keeping track of progress.

The FuseSign and Sodium integration is designed to reduce that friction. Firms can manage their client work through Sodium and use FuseSign to provide a streamlined digital signing experience as part of the process.

This helps firms:

  • Keep client management, workflows and document signing better connected
  • Reduce unnecessary steps between managing work and requesting signatures
  • Continue using specialist platforms that suit their firm
  • Create a smoother workflow for both teams and clients
  • Improve efficiency without moving to a single all-in-one platform

Built around a best-of-breed approach

Both FuseSign and Sodium believe accounting firms should be able to build a technology stack around the tools that work best for them.

Rather than requiring firms to replace proven specialist applications with one platform that attempts to cover every function, the integration connects two focused solutions: Sodium for managing clients and workflows, and FuseSign for digital signing.

The partnership was shaped by feedback from accountants already using and recommending FuseSign.

“When we asked accountants which platform they preferred for e-signatures, one name kept coming up again and again: FuseSign.

“We’ve always believed Sodium should work with the best specialist tools accountants already know and love, rather than trying to replace everything with an all-in-one suite.

“Integrating with FuseSign means firms can manage their clients and workflows in Sodium, while using a best-in-class e-signature platform as a seamless part of that process. It’s exactly the kind of integration our customers have been asking us for.”

Built around a best-of-breed approach

The Sodium integration is the latest addition to FuseSign’s growing ecosystem of accounting and practice-management integrations.

Demand for connected tools continues to increase as firms look for practical ways to reduce duplicated work, improve consistency and get more value from their technology stack.

“The demand for connected workflows continues to grow. Today, 82% of FuseSign customers are connected to at least one other application, and more than half use two or more integrations.

“Sodium is a valuable addition to our growing UK partner ecosystem, helping firms connect the systems they rely on and reduce friction across client management, workflows and document signing.”
