FuseSign named Regional Practice App of the Year for Ireland at Xero Awards 2026

We’re delighted to share that FuseSign has been named Regional Practice App of the Year for Ireland at the Xero Global App Awards 2026.

The award is an exciting recognition for our team and everyone who has contributed to building and growing FuseSign. More importantly, it reflects the value FuseSign is creating for accounting and bookkeeping practices as they look for simpler, more connected ways to manage document signing.

Xero describes the Practice App of the Year category as recognising apps that empower accounting and bookkeeping practices through meaningful, regionally relevant impact. From accounting practice problem to award-winning app

FuseSign began with a problem co-founders Melissa Voss and Scott Barber experienced firsthand while working at a chartered accounting firm.

Preparing and sending client documents, particularly complex packs spanning family groups and multiple entities, involved too many manual steps. Existing signing tools were often expensive, disconnected from accounting workflows or difficult for clients to navigate.

That experience led to FuseSign: a signing platform designed specifically for accounting firms, with greater control over documents and recipients, clearer visibility across the practice and a simpler experience for clients.

What began as a solution to a problem inside one accounting practice is now used by more than 2,500 firms globally. Being named Regional Practice App of the Year for Ireland at the Xero Global App Awards 2026 is an important milestone in that journey and recognition of FuseSign’s growing impact within the accounting community.

What that looks like for an Irish practice

The experience of Jefferson Accounting & Tax offers a practical example of FuseSign’s impact in Ireland.

The firm serves several hundred SMEs and handles approximately 100 sets of company accounts and 200 income tax returns each year. Before adopting FuseSign, documents were sent as PDF attachments, with clients asked to print, sign, scan and return them. The process became especially difficult when several people in different locations needed to sign the same document.

Jefferson now uses FuseSign with FYI to manage document packs containing multiple files, recipients and signing requirements. Once all recipients have completed their part, the signed documents return to the relevant client file in FYI.

The connected process helps the team reduce manual filing and continue working when clients, directors and team members are in different locations. Managing Director Jeff Byrne says a complete set of accounts can be signed through FuseSign and filed in FYI within five minutes when every recipient is ready. By comparison, sending the same documents through the post could take days.

“The work doesn’t stop because you’re away,” Jeff explains. “The team gets the completed copy and can then do their part.”
